Proposed Changes to Bylaws

Dear Club Members,

 

We are writing to share materials related to a proposed update to the Hillside Club Bylaws, which—if approved—would take effect on April 1, 2026.

 

Below you will find:

• The current 2024 Bylaws

• The proposed 2026 Bylaws

• A brief summary of key changes

 

We encourage you to review these materials in advance. Members will be asked to vote on the proposed bylaws at our Annual Meeting on March 2, 2026. At that same meeting, we will also vote on:

• The new Board of Directors, and

• Membership dues for the Club year beginning June 1, 2026.

 

For the first time in seven years, the Board is proposing a modest increase in annual dues—from $160 to $180. Even with this change, Hillside Club membership remains, by far, one of the best values in town for an historic social club.

 

The proposed Board slate will be shared with members in the February newsletter, in advance of the Annual Meeting.Thank you for your ongoing engagement and care for the Hillside Club. We look forward to discussing these items together at the Annual Meeting.
