Wine Tasting

Tuesday June 6th at 7:30. The theme will be white wines of France. We will of course pick from the well known grapes such as Chardonnay (such as Bourgogne Blanc or Chablis), Sauvignon Blanc (from Loire Valley, notably Sancerre), Viognier (Condrieu from the Rhône), and Chenin Blanc (e.g. Vouvray). There are many blends to choose from such as Bordeaux Blanc (Sémillon, Muscadelle, and Sauvignon Blanc) and Languedoc-Roussillon (Chardonnay plus Viognier). We may dip into Alsace (

On Tuesday June 7th, the theme will be Chardonnays with styles that range from over-the-top oakey/buttery to understated steely/austere. We may sneak in a Burgundy to keep you on your toes. The cost will be $25 for members and $30 for non-members. ​ Members get a preferential right to sign up for this tasting through Thursday April 14th. After that it will be opened to non-members.
