---Tai Chi Chuan---Chi Kung---NEIGUNG
Systematic approach to enhance and maintain health while aging. It will help prevent physical wilting as you age by rebuilding your body's ability to articulate movement through increased strength and elasticity. Properly practicing it recirculates your energy, fluids, blood, lymph, and materials between organs, enhances metabolism, and can rebuild your body.
Our bodies run on energy. The free circulation of energy is what the Chinese have contemplated and practiced in their healing, sports, and martial arts for over a thousand years.
It is achievable by combining breath work, specific posturing, mindful movement, and release of tension in oneself.
All Internal Martial arts utilize Neigung. One can practice Neigung with specific gestures and or in forms such as Tai Chi and Chi Kung. Forms are important and necessary; however, neigong specializes in how you do these forms and movements. This is what separates the repetitive actions of forms from the life-enhancing and health-restoring benefits available in Neigong as we age.
Classes every Monday, Wednesday and Friday
Tai Chi - 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Chi Gong - 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
General Admission: $20 per class
Hillside Club Members: $15 per class
