A former professor of Victorian literature, Carol Christ was the first woman chancellor of UC Berkeley, leading the world's largest public university from 2017 to 2024. She spearheaded a ten-year program to build and provide housing for all undergraduates, including transfer students, as well as oversaw the construction and renovation of many buildings serving research and connected learning programs on the campus.
Sylvia Paull is a well-known high-tech publicist and Silicon Valley connector, who hosted the Berkeley Cybersalon, a monthly panel featuring high-tech pioneers discussing the impact of new technologies on all aspects of our civilization. She has served on the Hillside Club board, founded the Last Friday Lunch, and most recently, the Documentary Film Series.











Slope is a fast-paced 3D running game where you control a rolling ball down a neon slope filled with twists and obstacles. The speed increases constantly, pushing your reflexes to the limit. It’s simple, addictive, and perfect for quick, intense gameplay.
I played Block Blast at a family gathering and kept pretending to check messages. When I landed that triple clear, I nearly gave myself away by grinning too hard.
