About the event
Square dance caller Jordan Ruyle calls at East Bay Square Dance for the first time! Round Top Stringband plays live old-time music! No experience necessary; no partner necessary. Kids welcome. The caller teaches each dance right before we dance it. New folks, and all folks, are invited to the beginner lesson at 7:45.
Doors open: 7:30 pm
Beginner lesson: 7:45-8:00 pm
Square dancing: 8:00-10:00 pm
This is a queer-friendly event. Role-switching is encouraged. Wear dance shoes if you have them! No stiletto heels allowed.
BYOB: You may bring beer and wine. No hard alcohol allowed. Bring your water bottles!
