Founded in the late 19th century to promote good design practices in the Berkeley hills, the Hillside Club
today is a community-based membership organization dedicated to supporting the arts and culture and preserving our landmark building.
We invite you to explore our club history, events, and membership information, and consider renting our
facility to host your event. Our hall is wheelchair accessible and our restrooms are ADA compliant.
Two special Hillside Club Walking tours April 4 and 18

Both tours will be led by architectural historian and long-time club member Daniella Thompson, along with Charles Keeler specialist Barry Endick. They will offer tour goers an exclusive opportunity to gain intimate access to historically significant properties.
